Does Shion/Suzie actually drop the whole armor set?

  • She apparently is supposed to but I haven't seen her drop more than shoes and weapons.

My guild has been running her for 3 days now with static parties and we haven't gotten any of the other parts.

Anyone has any information or insight on this?

Edit: After trial and error + the help of other people.

[Manic mode - episode 4 of the following dungeons]

    • Forgotten armoury: Helmet

    • Acheron: Chest

    • Deep core: Shoulder

    • Ark ship: Weapon & Boots

  • For the unique (yellow/gold) craftable set, each piece drops in a different dungeon, on maniac mode (episode 4). If you keep running only Ark Ship ep4, then you won't get the whole set. The drop rate of those is so low that I wouldn't recommend wasting time getting that set, get GC instead.

  • Now someone said that he got the chest blueprint from Shion/Suzie.

My confusion is rising by the minute.

so you're gonna skip raid set and mk3 set as well and go straight to gc when you hit 55. good luck dude

I did all raids and 100 runs of GC with blue level 54 gear and around 30-35k HP. You DON'T need unique gears, or mk2/3, or raid gear to do that content.

Get blue lv54 gear from Ark Ship (it drops quite often and sells usually cheap) with good stats (HP, crit rate, crit dmg, penetration, etc) and you'll be fine for all endgame content apart from Primal (for which you need GC set).

you almost sound like you did all that content all by yourself, plus no gear is required if a dungeon doesnt have a time limit and you can dodge but is it really convenient to run with 54 level gear? I don't see any good side to it

  • Level 54 blue gear with good stats is better than level 55 gear with bad stats. I had a whole GC set crafted, but I didn't use it because it had worse stats than my level 54 blue gear. If you get lucky and get good stats on mk2/mk3/raid gear/etc, then it's marginally better than lv54 blue gear. But if you're unlucky, then just stick to lv54 blue gear with good stats, it's much faster and easier to get and is more than enough to get you through all endgame content.

But what do I know, I only spent one year playing the game.

first of all, do you really need to give that useless information about your play time? I've played this game for a fairly long time myself plus if it's working out for you, it doesnt mean that it's gonna work out for someone else. you're giving those advices to people who just started the game. I still can't see any good reason to compare 54 blues to 55 sets but what do I know

  • Then you really don't know much. My advice is solid - it's easier to get blue lv54 gear with good stats than unique lv55 gear with good stats. You don't want to use unique lv55 armor set with no HP rolls, even though it has more defense than lv54 blue gear. If you get unlucky with crafting your lv55 unique gear, then just stick with lv54 blue gear until you get full GC with decent stats and HP rolls on at least 2-3 pieces of armor.

I've seen way too many people who followed the idiotic meta of getting mk3/raid/lv55 unique gear, then go for GC dungeon. Their offensive and HP rolls were most often terrible, because it takes a long time to craft full unique set, so they only crafted it once and rolled with it. Result? They had more defense, sure, so they took maybe 20-25% damage less than with lv54 blue set. But most often, they weren't lucky with HP and offensive rolls, so they died more quickly than if they had lv54 blue gear with HP rolls, AND they did less damage because no good offensive rolls on their lv55 unique gear.

The best way to go is to craft one unique set (or a mix between mk3/raid/shion/etc., as the set bonuses aren't that great) and if it has decent stats, use it until getting full GC with decent HP/offensive rolls. But if your first lv55 unique gear is terrible with stats, then you'll be better off getting lv54 blue gear with good stats (which is easy to do, it drops all the time and market will be flooded with those gears in a matter of weeks since server launch).

if we're going into that road then, I don't think you know much as well. My point is clear, I don't agree to your advice and it's not so wise to give that kind of advice to a newbie player. Plus you don't have to repeat yourself, you already explained these more than once.

  • Ok so im a new player.. any reason why Ice+ comment is flawed?

  • Maths doesn't lie. If you think I'm wrong, explain why. Simply saying you don't agree with my advice means nothing unless you gice some ground to your disbelief.

This advice is good for newbie players. It will increase their survivability and offensive stats. There's no drawbacks at all. If they don't get lucky the 1st time they craft a unique lv55 set, then they should stick with lv54 blue with good stats. It will make them more tanky (able to survive more hits) and more dpsy (better offensive stats on armors).

  • I appreciate the insight but I would still wish to know where exactly the pieces drop from.

So far I have gathered multiple contradicting answers and it gets me nowhere.

At this point it's just frustrating to farm something that might not even be the right place to farm.
